The IET24242MH-S-RP is designed for high speed data communication for local and remote end connections. The Series is L2+rack-mount managed switches offering twenty-four 10/100/1000Mbps copper twisted-pair ports plus four 100/1000MbpsSFP ports. They support single/multi-mode, 1/2 fiber connections to extend distance up to 20Km for long-distance connections. The switches also support AC power inputs (100–240VAC). Some models of IET24242MH-S-RP support dual AC power inputs and no service interruption in case of apower supply failure. Multiple management interfaces (web, CLI, telnet and SNMP) allow user to configure and monitor the switcheasily. It also supports spanning tree protocol, STP/RSTP/MSTP for network redundancy. With OTS SuperXtra ring,the network recovery time can be reduced to less than 20 ms (in 250 nodes) to minimize the impact to the systems. In addition, the switches support different ring topologies including single/dual ring to ensure excellent reliability and availability of the 24 hours operationsystem. L2 management features include Port/Tag-based VLAN, IGMP snooping, link aggregation, Port-based security and QoS. The IGMP snoopingallows for high bandwidth demand applications such as video surveillance system. The support of Link Aggregation Control Protocolcombines the bandwidth of the multiple ports together to form high speed trunk. The IET24242MH-S-RP offers multiple LayerAccess Control List (ACL) to allow/deny packets based on source/destination MAC addresses, source/destination IP addresses and UDP/TCP ports. Housed in rack-mount fan-less case, the switch canbe installed in the 19” cabinetwith 1U space and well-suited in industrial environment. Model IET24242MH-S-RP switch operates from -40°C to 75°C and enable to work under extreme weather conditions.
